This module focuses upon the theory and applied practice of coaching within an applied learning framework. It covers the principles, theories and models of coaching, along with an understanding of the process issues connected to coaching activities. It provides a powerful framework for specifying the different types of developmental help given in coaching activities. The different approaches and applications of coaching and mentoring are inherent in this module. It combines both the theoretical underpinning of coaching and mentoring with practical exercises, case studies and tools. This module develops an awareness of theory, processes and applications of coaching to be utilized in various live settings.
